Most people talk about commerce as if the storefront is the business.

It is not.
The storefront is the visible layer.
Underneath it sits the infrastructure that decides whether the business can actually move.
Can it receive money from the markets it serves?
Can it pay suppliers without turning every transaction into a project?
Does it own the customer journey, or depend entirely on a platform it cannot control?
Can buyers find it through search, answers and AI-assisted discovery?
Does the store convert attention into profitable demand?
This is where my work now sits.
Through KnoxxPay, I am building practical payment infrastructure around five real money jobs: bills, gift cards, crypto, virtual USD accounts for receiving international payments, and payouts to China and India.
Through Alphamax Digital, I am building and improving owned eCommerce infrastructure across Shopify, WooCommerce, migration, SEO, AEO, GEO, conversion and profitability.
Two companies.
One position.
Build the infrastructure behind modern commerce.
Because growth is fragile when payments, platforms, discovery and profit are treated as separate problems.
I will spend the next 30 days breaking down this system, one layer at a time.
If you build, operate or invest in African commerce, follow the series.
